Cookie & Similar Technologies Notice

Last updated: 1 July 2025

MenuTap ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies, local storage, session storage and similar technologies (together, “cookies”) on menutap.biz. This notice explains what they are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

---

1  What are cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data placed on your device by a website.  It allows the site to recognise your browser between page loads or visits. Local‑ and session‑storage work in a similar way but store the data only inside your browser (they are not sent back with every request like cookies).

2  Why we use cookies

We group cookies into categories that match the consent options you see in the banner on first visit:

| Category | Why we use it | | -------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Essential | Enable core functionality such as secure log‑in, account protection, network management and accessibility. They cannot be switched off. | | Functional | Remember choices you make (e.g. language) and improve features like multi‑step forms. | | Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can measure and improve performance. |

3  Your choices

When you first visit we show a consent banner that lets you Accept all, Reject non‑essential, or set Granular Preferences.

You can withdraw or change consent at any time by clicking the cookie‑settings icon in the footer. Essential cookies load regardless of consent because they are necessary for the service you have requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). * We honour all choices instantly – non‑essential scripts are blocked until you give opt‑in consent.

5  How to manage cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Links to help pages:

Chrome – `Settings → Privacy & security → Cookies and other site data` Firefox – `Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data` Safari – `Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data` Edge – `Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies`

Blocking essential cookies will break log‑in and core functionality.

6  Do Not Track (DNT)

We currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals because there is no industry standard for doing so.

7  Changes to this notice

We review this notice at least annually. We will post any changes here and update the “Last updated” date.
